@anselm: Hi Andy- thanks so much for your work on this. What a great event. btw- I missed a contact with the guy that lead the bicycle ride Sunday AM. Pointers welcome
@Marcelo Camelo: I'm not sure if it's the same in Australia, but from our experiences here, you're right that agents are very restrictive with information in order to make sure the people come to them when looking for a house. But, often the lack of pictures is simply because of technophobia, or technical inability.
The problem is, that ultimately the consumer suffers for that.
We should talk. I'm here at where camp right now. Look for me. Or call me 909-754-3941.
Also, check out what we've done so far: HouseFLIX.com
Hope to see you around.

@Ryan Sarver: would i still be allowed entry if i came in late today ... have to attend TiEcon session in the morning (5/17)
@Erik Hersman: Eric, can't wait to see you again this weekend.
http://ushahidi.com is fantastic.
Looking forward to meeting other folks working on activisty geohackery.
PS: puh-lease give the OReilly talk again.
@Henrik Joreteg: I totally agree with your comments on how online RE should work. In Australia things really suck. You get a couple of pictures and that's it. I just wonder who benefits from the current state of things. Maybe owners/realtors do want to (selectively) show as little as possible of the property to force potential buyers to inspect? Or maybe it is the RE sites that charge too much for additional pictures?
@Chaitanya Kuber: Thanks, and let's definitely grab some time this weekend to continue talking.
@Erik Hersman: Great talk at Where 2.0 the other day. I was very impressed and inspired. Would love to chat during WhereCamp.

To find out more get in touch with Andy, the guy who created the site.
@Jessica Forbess: i would love a bike route site, there are alot of halfway solutions that just don't cut it.
@anselm: saw you today walking towards the broadway bridge, was driving opposite direction
@Van Riper: Hello Van!
Thanks for your comment. Too bad our meetup's conflict. I would love to know more about your work with KML. Look forward to meeting you at WhereCamp.
Kind regards, Catherine
@Catherine Burton: I probably should have done that first comment as a private message. Luckily, it wasn't all that private to begin with. :-)
@Catherine Burton: Hi Catherine,
It looks I will finally get to meet you at this camp. I am doing some stuff with KML maps, but, I can never get to your map meetings because they conflict with a Java User Group meeting that I run.
Cheers, Van
